About Us

Debt has such a huge impact on our lives, we spend nearly every waking moment thinking about it but it's ultimately just an item line in someone else's excel sheet. We use that to the consumers advantage. We leverage our collective buying power to save millions of dollars for consumers just like you.

Origin Story

I left grad school with nearly $100,000 in student loans despite attending a small public school with scholarships and assistantships. That level of debt was debilitating and led me to a place where I considered moving out of the country or even faking my death so I didn’t have to live the rest of my life trying to repay my loans. That initial frustration pushed me to get active in the fight against student debt. I went on to design the websites for two of the leading organizations in the fight against student debt; Student Debt Crisis, who most know from their work with Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Sen. Chuck Schumer in their plan to cancel $50K, and the Debt Collective who most people know from their work with Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. After also serving as a US Senate panelist on the topic and being featured in publications like US News, Money.com, NY1 and more, I decided to take my learnings on how debt was flowing through the system to find a way to disrupt it.

Rebels With a Cause

Rarely does a fire start on the first strike, but for us, we lit up about helping borrowers. For more than 20 years, Henry saw a world where everyday people were being taken advantage of by institutions that knew the game. We teamed up to re-wire it and make it work for you.

Our Investors

Don't just take our word for it! We're backed by best in class tech investors, our work is also supported by the largest poverty fighting organization in New York City, and our largest outside shareholder has fueled social change in 120+ countries, and mobilized billions of dollars in global impact.
